I edit film and TV coverage on NPR’s culture desk, and earned my master’s in media and communications at the London School of Economics in 2023. I previously edited service journalism on NPR’s Life Kit, produced audio on the network’s daily news shows, and did a little of everything on the education desk.
My reporting on a federal student loan discharge program for people with disabilities led to an overhaul of the flawed program.
In 2019, I spearheaded planning and production for NPR’s first-ever Student Podcast Challenge, a nationwide contest for students. The contest won a National Edward R. Murrow Award for Excellence in Innovation and continues annually at NPR. A story I produced profiling the winners took home a Gracie Award in 2020.
